We’re excited to spotlight Black Barn Antiques & Marketplace in Jefferson, GA. Owned by local, Delinah Kozup. This antique mall consists of over 40 vendors with a wide variety of unique items.

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

My name is Delinah Kozup and I am a mother of three children - 23, 15 and 12 years old. I am married to my husband, Jeremy, of 20+ years and we moved to Jefferson in 2007.

Tell us about Black Barn Antiques & Marketplace!

My business is Black Barn Antiques & Marketplace. It is an antique mall consisting of over 40 vendors…each of whom rents out a space from me to fill with whatever they want to sell and we have a really wide variety of items at any given time.

What inspired you to start your business?

My mother has been in the antique business for as long as I can remember. I have grown up in and around antique spots so I was very familiar with the comings and goings of the business and saw a need for one in Jefferson after Jarfly closed down.

Is there anything exciting you’d like to share about your business?

Everyday is exciting in our shop…we get new (or old) items in every single day! Our vendors are the ones finding and buying so we will always have new things added… it is a lot of fun seeing what they find and bring in.

What’s something on your bucket list?

I would like to travel to Europe and see some really old antiques and architecture.

What is the best advice you’ve ever been given?

You cannot please everyone…just follow your gut and let it guide the way.

What’s good in your life?

Right now everything- I am super busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I work better under pressure.
